Former Ilva, the Ministry of Enterprise: "A mandate has been sent to the ADI commissioners to adjourn the tender."

"The MIMIT (Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy ), based on the findings of the meeting regarding the importance of full decarbonization objectives shared by all institutional representatives, mandates the ADI commissioners in As to ensure that these objectives are incorporated into the updated tender," reads the minutes of the meeting on the former Ilva , held at the ministry. A meeting has also been scheduled for August 12th "to allow local authorities, as requested, to convene their assembly bodies to fully express their positions on the decarbonization plan and, possibly, on the best location for the DRI hub," it continues.
"We move forward in the hope of reaching the greatest possible consensus on the decarbonization plan for the former Ilva. Negotiations will continue indefinitely to combine environmental transition with economic and production sustainability. With the consent of all institutional stakeholders, we will instruct the commissioners to immediately adjourn the tender process for full decarbonization. This will happen next week. Tomorrow, at Palazzo Chigi, together with the other ministers, we will report to the unions on the objectives achieved in order to listen, as always, to their proposals," declared Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso , after the meeting on the program agreement for the former Ilva.
